Frequently asked questions
-
If you think your child might benefit from speech-language therapy, DON’T WAIT! Request an evaluation to ensure your child is meeting their developmental milestones. The longer a child goes without intervention, the farther they may fall behind.
-
First, you and your child will participate in an evaluation to discuss your concerns, gather data, and create a treatment plan individualized to your child’s needs.
Therapy sessions typically last between 25 and 50 minutes, depending on the SLP’s recommendation and your family's schedule. We use a therapy approach rooted in play to teach functional skills and concepts in a natural setting. This is backed by research - children participating in play-based therapy are more engaged, learn more easily, and use their new skills more effectively.

Our clinic is private pay only to allow us to provide the highest quality care without the limitations from insurance companies. This means we can spend more one-on-one time with your child and better tailor our sessions to meet your child’s needs at each stage of treatment. We understand the financial stressors families may experience when providing their child with quality medical care, so we strive to make our rates as accessible and fair as possible.
